Windows 7 EOL!!
Windows 7 will be coming to the end by 14 of January 2020. This means that there will be no support or updates if you want to continue using after this date.
Enterprise customers may be able to extend their Microsoft licence which might include the required updates and support needed.
The chosen date was to give customers plenty of time to prepare for the switch over to the latest Windows 10. They will have the chance to also upgrade to Windows 8.1, however the updates and support for this will come to an end much sooner than Windows 10.
Current Pc’s that are running Windows 7 will start receiving notifications about the upcoming support state from April 2019 onwards.
The notifications will pop up now and then, but the user will be able to select the option: ‘Don’t show this message again’.
